Fortzone Battle Royale was born in 2024 from a simple observation: while battle royale games had become the most popular genre in gaming, they all required massive downloads, expensive hardware, and often charged for content. We asked ourselves — why can't a great battle royale experience live in the browser?
A small team of passionate game developers and web technology enthusiasts set out to change that. We spent months pushing the boundaries of what WebGL and modern browsers could deliver — building a full 3D battle royale experience with building mechanics, vehicles, customization, and competitive multiplayer, all running natively in a web browser.
After extensive community testing and constant iteration based on player feedback, Fortzone Battle Royale launched as a free-to-play experience accessible to anyone with an internet connection and a browser. No downloads. No installations. No barriers.
